Graduation Cupcakes + Giveaway

Tuesday, May 28, 2013

(Giveaway closed congratulations to the winner!)

I have an amazingly smart roommate and I was so excited to celebrate her graduating from graduate school with two, yes two, graduate degrees!  Lanta has been my friend since the Fall of 2005 (coming up on 8 years of friendship!) and we have lived together since the Summer of 2010.  We have quite a history and I'm so grateful to have such an amazing friend!

After graduation she invited her family and a few friends over to our apartment for a nice and intimate graduation celebration!

It was full of delicious food from Moe's and of course the adorable cupcakes!  I made vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet mini cupcakes all with cream cheese frosting.  They were topped with white fondant rounds and blue letters adhered with water.

These were such a hit!  The cupcakes without letters were eaten first to keep the message on the table for as long as possible.  Everyone was so happy for Lanta!  Congratulations!
